We offer a wide variety of surf lessons that will fit everyone's ability and budget. From private lessons, group lessons, corporate outings, parties, and camps! First-time surfers to intermediate and advanced coaching, we have you covered. We are your one-stop shop for surfing in the Charleston area.
Surfboard & Wetsuit Rentals Charleston
Renting a surfboard is the logical next step after you’ve had a few lessons. We offer affordable half-day, daily, and weekly rentals and have a variety of shapes and sizes. If you find surfing on your own is too daunting we are always here for more lessons or coaching sessions.
Folly Beach Surf Camp
We offer ten weeks of summer surf camp in Folly Beach (Monday-Friday) starting in June. There isn't a more fun way for your child to stay active this summer. Our campers learn to surf or progress their surfing, make friends, learn about ocean safety, and play beach games in a safe and fun environment.

Meet our team of professional, experienced, and passionate private surf lesson and surf camp instructors here in Charleston. We are proud of every member who represents Isla and the Charleston community. Our staff is a diverse group from all walks of life with the common thread of loving surfing. We have military veterans, school teachers, former pro surfers, and college students who are all excellent ambassadors of the sport. We are blown away by the Isla community that has formed over the years and the fact that our head instructors Monica and Jake who have now been with us for 4 plus years.
